Motorrad charger plus

Hi Just had my new bike delivered, I have noticed it does not have a din connector plug ,I already have a bmw Motoradd plus battery charger ,
It also comes with crocodile clips , can I charge the battery with the crocodile clips with out removing the battery,

Hi Colin. Which model? my '23 1250 GS has din plug below the seat on the left side, as well as the USB ports.

Read the user manual... some modern machines don't like the battery being charged fitted to the machine.

I can only repeat what I have said... read the user manual. If it's not there, go back to the dealer and ask. I suspect it'll be OK but the worst case scenario might be fried electronics on the bike. At the end of the day, if the dealer tells you it'll be OK and it isn't or if it's in the manual, you at least have a chance of claimimg the coast of repair...

From the BMW website: https://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/en/servi ... dbook.html. This indicates the specially designed BMW float charger is the one to use...(If I've picked the correct bike model)
